Huge variety here! They had nice flowers and arrangements, but also some interesting antiques and specialty items. I thought it was worth a visit!
I often stop in at this shop to get myself a flower just as a little treat, I always try to support small local businesses such as this little shop because I once worked at a small local business and I know how much one customer means to them. Other times that I have been there I was happily greeted by an older gentleman. Today that was not the case. I had a long day at work and I thought a flower was what I needed to brighten up this rainy day. I went into the store, wearing my boyfriends hoodie and a pair of pj pants, yes I know maybe not the best visual impression, but anyways, I walked over to the single flower cooler looked around, and didn't see anything that I really liked, most of the roses had brown edges, so I decided to pass and come back another day. I didn't want to be rude and just turn and walk out after I didn't like the flowers so I made a quick little circle around the store, and on my way back around as I was rounding the corner for the door I hear the woman behind the counter tell another I'd assume worker, she was in more dressed up clothes so I wasn't sure, "watch her make her she doesn't take anything" I rounded the corner looked looked at them laughed appalled that I heard her say this and then I walked out. I was so hurt by her words, I will never return to that store again. I am not one to judge others by their appearance, and today showed my why I should be like that. You never know how a little judgement will make a person feel or think of themselves. I now will have to find another little flower shop to buy my little treats.
Our wedding was simple and elegant and that's exactly what Rose gave me! She also gave me some great ideas for our reception. I loved going into her shop just to chat. Thanks for helping to make our day beautiful!
